My Dad came to visit us this last weekend and we had such a great time! It was a short visit; he flew in on Friday evening and flew out on Sunday morning. But that didn't stop us from having a ton of fun while he was here! Tyler and the kids and I spent a few hours in Santa Barbara before his plane landed. We played at the park, went on a little walk, and just happened upon an antique carousel that we just barely had enough cash on us (since we don't usually carry cash) for us all to have one ride. After the carousel we went to pick Dad up from the airport. We all went out to eat on Friday night at IHOP and then drove back home. Saturday we played at home a little bit in the morning and then spent the last half of the morning playing at the beach. Saturday evening we made a yummy dinner and just hung out before bed. Sunday morning we got up and I made french toast and eggs for everyone before we had to pack everyone up and head for Santa Barbara to drop Grandpa off at the airport. It was a short visit but we loved every minute of it and we're so happy that he made it down to see us despite all of his work responsibilities. We sure love Grandpa!!!
