Dancing Queen
My baby dances... :-) And boy is she cute when she does! I see dance lessons in our future!
Pre-Op Dr Appointment
So I had my pre-op appointment the other day. One of the Drs who is doing my surgery said, "I've never had [a scar revision surgery] not work before!"
Wooo hoooo! Hopefully this will be the case for me as well!
I have been a little nervous, not having been under general anesthesia any more than one time before and having to do it again so they can make incisions and stuff (which they didn't do last time I was under G.A.) is just a little nerve-racking! I'm sure everything will be ok though :) I'm excited to start feeling better as soon as I recover from surgery! I'll feel pretty crappy for a week or so but I hope this actually fixes the problem and that I can get back to normal life again!

Ameilya's Six Month Pictures
I got Ameilya's six month pictures back from the portrait studio! They turned out sooo cute! I can hardly believe that some of them are her, they are just so perfect! We love our sweet Ameilya :)
Coeur d'Alene trip
We went up to Coeur d'Alene and Spokane a couple weekends ago. Tyler's sister had a baby in January and we went up there for the blessing of their baby girl Dalieeah in their ward at church. I didn't get any pictures of Dalieeah (she was gorgeous though!! and so tiny, she was a little early so she only weighed almost 9 pounds at her blessing and she was almost three months old I think). I did get a few other pics that I would like to share.
Mailbox
A couple weeks ago someone ran over our mailbox. And flattened it like a pancake. Yes, a pancake. Of course the person who hit it didn't say anything or leave a note or anything like that. The post had broken clean off, it is still partly in the ground. And the post was missing. On our way to church a couple days later we found it on the side of the road. A mile and a half away from our house! ;) So here are some pics of the flattened mailbox and the new one that Tyler put up :-)

Auntie Gracee visits Millie!!
A couple weeks ago my sister Gracee came to visit us and other family in the area. We had such a fun time with her and she was such a good help to me around the house. Millie absolutely adored her and had an awesome time playing with her Aunt! :)
Ameilya even had some fun with her Papa Gillette!

Surgery
So I was referred to another doctor for a second opinion for the pain that I have been having. We decided the best course of action to help with the pain is a scar revision surgery. Its just an outpatient surgery so I will get to go home the same day, which I am glad about. I'll not feel good at all for a week or so but hopefully after that I will be able to do all the normal things I used to be able to do before having a baby. I will go in for surgery at the beginning of May.
I feel really good about this treatment option. I didn't want to have to have surgery but I kinda felt all along that this is what would end up being what would fix my problem. I wanted to make sure that I exhausted all other options before resorting to this, and I can confidently say that I gave everything else a valiant effort and it was all to no avail. I sure hope that this surgery will help me to recover in the way that I need to so that I can finally feel normal again.
I am so grateful for loving and supportive family and friends, especially Tyler and how sweet, sympathetic, and helpful he has been during this difficult time for us. I love Ameilya and would do it all over again just to have her be a part of our little family. She is such a joy to us.

Ameilya is 6 months old!!!!!!
Ameilya turned a whole half a year old on the 8th of April and I haven't gotten around to posting about it yet, things have just been so crazy.
6 month stats:
Weight: 14.5 pounds
Height: 25.5 inches
She has gained almost six pounds and grown four and a half inches in length! That's some serious growth there!
She likes:
Eating- particularly applesauce, sweet potatoes, vanilla yogurt, peas, carrots, pears, peaches, milk (of course), rice cereal, oatmeal cereal
Rolling over
Daddy
Mommy
Other family
Tummy time
Wiggling/Dancing
Nap time
Diaper changes
Bath time
Her squeaky ball
Short rides in the car
Standing
Her toes
Interesting noises
Her stuffed lamb toy
Hearing Mommy play music
Classical music
She doesn't like:
Bright lights in her eyes
People touching her toes or getting in the way of her legs moving
Long car rides
The bell at church that rings to signal the end of Sunday School
Here are some cute pics of little Millie on her six month "birthday":

Sneak peek!!!
Ameilya got her 6 month pics taken yesterday because she will be 6 months old in four days! I can hardly believe that my little baby is going to be a whole half a year old in just a few days! How did that happen so quickly?! Crazy! This little girl did so well at the portrait studio and the pictures turned out super cute. Here are just a few to make your mouth water until I get the others back from the studio :)
