Madilynn is a light and a joy to our family. She just radiates sweetness; she loves kisses and hugs and gives them freely to the people (and anything soft) that she loves. She absolutely loves soft blankets and stuffed animals and literally shrieks and squeals while giving whatever soft object has caught her attention squeezes and loves. She will often be found carrying around more stuffed animals than her little arms can hold She is soooooo happy, almost always smiling and laughing often. She has a huge appetite for someone her size and often out eats her big sister. Since she is now 18mo she gets to go in the nursery at our church (praise the Lord! ;) ) She has been doing well with that and send to really enjoy playing. Her hair is getting long and we have fun doing it in cute ponytails. She loves to play, especially going to the park, playing in the sand and water at the beach and playing with her Daddy. She is very much a Daddy's girl and wants Dad and only Dad where he is around. She is getting really good at communicating and has lots of words, her favorites being: bear (translates to "any animal stuffed or otherwise" in Madi speak), flower, buckle, cracker, chocolate, sister, ball, nana, fuff (from fluff, basically means anything small on the floor that should not go in the mouth), and buttons. She is very active and into almost literally everything. And it doesn't help that she can climb like a pro. I've found her on the kitchen table and on top of the entertainment center the TV is on (which is actually several inches taller than the kitchen table). We are lucky she hasn't climbed out of her bed yet, knock on wood! She sleeps really well at night and still take naps. We aren't worried about potty training yet, we'll start gradually after we get settled in overseas. She is a lightweight, last I weighed her she was about 22lbs but that was a month or so ago. She is wearing 18 Month size clothes and some 2T pants (girlfriend has legs!) We are so glad Madi is a part of our little family!!!
