A couple Saturdays ago we took our family to the ocean to play at the beach near Santa Barbara. It was such a fun time! It was Ameilya and Madi's first time at the beach and they loved it! Ameilya loves water, there is almost no water too cold for her and the ocean was no exception! She walked right in and loved to be with Tyler out where it was a little deeper. Madi loved walking on the beach and seeing all the she could find; little shells and cool pieces of wood were her favorite to pick up and pack around. Tyler tried his hand at surfing and had a fun time learning, he loves water sports. He was able to get up a few times and had a great time spending the day at the ocean.
There were some cool things to see at the beach; there was a little otter who was playing near some kelp who I couldn't get a picture of. But there were also a lot of sailboats out that were really cool to watch.
