Happy Seven Months to Ameilya Beth!!!

Oh how quickly the time has passed. Ameilya is getting so big, she is SEVEN months old today!
She gained two pounds in the last month! She is 25.5 inches long and weighs in at 16.5 pounds. She loves to be happy, smile, and hang out with Daddy and Mommy. She can basically sit up by herself, although she hasn't really been too interested in learning how to sit up on her own. She mainly just wants to stand, she LOVES standing. It's so cute to see her stand too, she gets this look in her eye like she has just done the coolest thing ever and she is so excited about the fact that she can do it. So sweet :) She is teething, though no teeth have officially popped through yet, she's been not wanting to eat solid foods though and screams every time that I try to put the spoon in her mouth. I think she's just hurting bad enough that she doesn't really want anything in there other than what she puts in there herself. She chews on things like crazy and loves it when her teething toys are fresh out of the fridge and therefore nice and cold.

I can post this now that everyone that reads our blog that we made Mother's Day cards for has seen their card. This is the card that we made for all the mothers/grandmothers in our lives :) Definitely not perfect but so very cute anyway!

Surgery

Well, I had surgery Friday. Everything about the surgery went as well as could be expected, my doctor things that what they did will fix the problem I have been having. The only thing that didn't go as well as I was hoping was how I felt after the surgery. I wasn't in too much pain, hardly any really. But I was super itchy from the narcotics and the monitor thingys that they stick to your chest. I have three welt looking things where they put those. And then I thew up from the anesthesia wearing off. That. Was.Great... Not. But I felt better after I threw up so that's good. Got to go home the same day, that was so nice to not have to stay overnight or eat hospital food. Yuck.
We had a couple people bring us dinners and have some help with cleaning arranged for next week. We are so grateful for all our family and friends who have helped, offered to help, or just offered kind words of support. I feel truly grateful for all that we are blessed with.
I'm feeling pretty good. Just trying to take it easy so that I heal properly and don't have to go through this again. Any prayers for a speedy recovery would be much appreciated :)
