Senior Recital Weekend :D

So my Senior Recital was last Saturday, April 14. It was so much fun, I had such a wonderful time playing beautiful music. I was able to be calm and confident which is something that I haven't ever really felt during a performance before. I mean, it definitely wasn't a perfect performance by any means, but I was able to be confident in my abilities and preparation. And it was so much fun! The whole process was really enjoyable. And it made it so much better since I had my wonderful family and friends there to share the experience with. My Dad flew from Spokane to hear me play and my sister who was attending BYU-I this year came as well as my sister who lives in Boise. I was told that my in-laws weren't coming but they actually came down and it was a huge surprise to me, so much fun to have them down here for the weekend. My McClellan Grandparents drove to Boise to hear me play as well but had to turn right around and leave afterwards to be back in Idaho Falls on Sunday for church obligations. I was so happy that they made such a great effort just to come and hear me play. And my Aunt and Uncle Bell from Missoula also drove down. I felt so loved with all the people that made such a great effort to support me. It was such a wonderful night :) of course there were many other people in attendance: Gillette Grandparents, my wonderful husband, my great viola teacher, a counselor from Kuna High School that I got to know while in high school, my great friends and adopted family the Knapp family, all my viola classmates from BSU, so many other supportive friends and family from school, work, and church. I have such wonderful, loving, and supportive people in my life.
Here are some pictures, since I know you're all dying to see my dress ;) jk, lol
( FYI, I had on red shoes! Just can't see then in any of the pics :(. )

The beautiful cake that my mother-in-law, Terry made for me. If you look closely you can see my name and some treble clefs and music notes :) and some very pretty chocolate flowers

Cute cake all decked out in strawberries with the adorable plates and napkins she brought to serve it on :) isn't that so sweet?! So nice of her :)

It was such a fun weekend! I lived every minute if it, life is just so wonderful!
One last picture: these are the FIVE vases of flowers that I was given at my recital from all my wonderful friends and family.
:)

Big thanks to all that came and to those that couldn't be there but were still thinking about me :) love you all

Only four days until my Senior Recital!

Oh man, I'm getting so nervous. Here' s a small taste of one of the pieces I'm playing for my recital on Saturday. Crazy hard. Sorry, not the greatest recording in the world.
