Miss Ameilya turns 8 Months Old!

My "little" baby is eight months old already! How the time has flown! I can hardly believe how small she started and how far she has come! She weighs nearly 19 pounds, I say nearly because I couldn't get an exact measurement on the scale the other day so I did the thing where I stood on the scale with her, then without her and then did the math. When I did that I got 18.7lb but don't know how accurate that is :) That puts her somewhere around the 50th percentile for weight. She is a growing girl! She is measuring in at 27.5 inches in length, around the 90th percentile for weight. Someone is going to be tall! Taller than her mom at least ;)

Millie has learned a lot this last month:
she says "dada" and knows that dada is Tyler
she knows what to do when she hears the words bouncy, fives, and dance
she waves (sometimes)
she is super close to crawling, like could crawl any day now
she is very proficient at rolling, will roll 4-5 times in succession to get to wherever she wants to go
she can hold a bottle all by herself
she loves eating solid foods with her favorites being sweet potatoes, carrots, pears, and yogurt
she is starting to talk with inflections in her voice, like she is having a conversation with you
she loves Daddy and Mommy, doesn't really show a preference right now for either of us, she just likes us both
she is extremely happy, only cries when tired or hungry and those are easy fixes
we have her on a good schedule: eating every  three hours and taking 3 naps a day and sleeping through the night
she has also learned to sit up by herself, still wobbles a bit but she is doing a really good job :)
