The girls attended vacation Bible school that was put on by the chapel on base this last week. They had a blast! It was amazing, all volunteer run and done so very well. I'm so grateful for all the volunteers that made it possible and for all the wonderful things they did for all the children who attended. I was touched by all the teenagers that volunteered to lead and help with the different classes of kids. It was so neat to see such young people doing such good and serving in the ways that they were. Truly inspiring. The kids are already sad they won't be going back to Bible School next week. They had such a great time. The theme was learning to be God's superhero through being kind, having hope, and being strong in what you know to be true. The scripture behind the theme was Psalms 34: 14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. It was a great week for them and I'll admit it was great to have a little break each day to take care of things needing done before baby comes out even just doing something for myself :)
